-Leadership Now is designed for New, Emerging, and Current Leaders-
Leadership Now will be held on November 7th from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Rural Health Education Center on the Indian Hills’ Ottumwa Campus. This conference is open to anyone who has an interest in leadership, particularly those who are interested in leadership as it applies to the local 10-county region.
This conference is a collaborative effort from four organizations that are active in promoting leadership in our area: ActionCOACH Heartland, Indian Hills Community College, ISU Extension, and the Ottumwa Leadership Academy. The goal of the organizational committee is to increase the number of people in our region who are actively engaged in promoting and practicing positive leadership qualities.
Dr. Jan Freed will the keynote speaker at Leadership Now this year. Dr. Freed has over 30 years of experience teaching leadership and organizational development and is professor emerita of business management at Central College. She recently authored a book titled Leading with Wisdom: Sage Advice from 100 Experts.
In addition to Dr. Freed’s keynote, participants will be able to attend four other breakout sessions throughout the day. There will be tracks for both experienced and emerging leaders, as well as special topic sessions.

The registration fee for the conference is $69, this includes lunch. Anyone who is a graduate, or current member, of a leadership program offered by one of the sponsoring organizations may register for the conference at the alumni rate of $59. (Contact the organization you attended the program through to receive the promotional code.) Organizations interested in purchasing 10 or more tickets will also qualify for the discounted rate.
