Wes Krenz (Class of 2015) has been named Chief Financial Officer at Serve Credit Union in Des Moines.
In his new role, Wes is responsible for supervising and controlling all accounting functions for the credit union, including the oversight and management of all the accounting staff. “It’s also my responsibility to help maneuver the credit union towards its annual goals and long-term growth ambitions. I’m mostly looking forward to the challenge of playing a major role to help lead Serve Credit Union through all the significant changes and disruptions that financial institutions face,” he said.
Wes, who also served on the O.L.A. Advisory Board, is eager to take the skills he gained as a participant in the Academy to his new role. He shared, “The Ottumwa Leadership Academy helped to sharpen my networking skills. Being a C.F.O. is something completely new to me, so developing a network of other C.F.O. and accounting professionals is only going to help lead to my success in this new role.”
Thank you for your service to the O.L.A. Advisory Board, and congratulations, Wes!
