O.L.A. current class member Shelley Bramschreiber has been named Ottumwa High School Principal for the 2022-2023 school year!
We asked Shelley how O.L.A. has impacted her in the first 5 months, and how what she’s learning will impact her in her new role. She said, “the Ottumwa Leadership Academy has been an outstanding opportunity for me to expand my leadership skills. I have learned so much about the strengths of our community, the needs of our community and how I can both personally and professionally have a positive impact within Wapello County. O.L.A. has already provided me with skills to better connect to the students and families of OHS.”
Shelley started her career with Ottumwa Schools as a middle school math teacher in 1994. She will be the first female principal in OHS history.
Congratulations, Shelley!
