Ottumwa Leadership Academy held its Media, Public Relations, and Communication day in November. Participants learned about presentation skills, clear & concise messaging, and social media for professionals. In addition to these topics, the class had hands-on training in the area of radio and television interviews.
“On-camera and radio interviews can be very intimidating – we hope that by the mere exposure and a trial run at the interviews will better prepare the participants for when they are asked to give a ‘real’ interview,” stated Hollie Tometich, Executive Director.
