We are excited to announce the addition of Shiloh Seim (2017), Lisa Fritz (2021), and Pla Eh Moo (2022) to the Ottumwa Leadership Academy Advisory Board!
Shiloh is the Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship Coordinator at Ottumwa Job Corps. She sits on the local LULAC chapter Secretary & Treasurer, Chair of VIVA Ottumwa International Festival, sits on boards for the Main Street Vitality Committee. She also sits on the committees for O! Pride and consults local organizations for events. In her free time, she enjoys raising her toddler and teenager and takes them on many adventures for community advocation.
Lisa is the Key Account Manager for Bellevue University. She earned her Master of Science (M.S.) in Adult Education Training and Development from Drake University. She is a United Way of Wapello County Board Member, Volunteer Assistant Coach for Moravia High School Softball team and a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
Pla is the Employment Manager for JBS. She was born in Myanmar, but I grew up in Thailand where she lived in a refugee camp for seven years. She came to the United States in 2008. She has served as a Navigator and Family Advocate for EMBARC, a nonprofit focused on connecting refugees with resources for life, and as Community Liaison Lead for JBS.
